Keyboard Shortcuts
Browser capture commands and editor keyboard shortcuts in Full Page Screenshot v1.21.0.
Browser capture shortcuts
The default assignments are:
| Action | Windows / Linux | macOS |
|---|---|---|
| Capture Full Page | Alt+1 | Control+1 |
| Capture Current View | Alt+2 | Control+2 |
| Capture Webpage Element | Alt+3 | Control+3 |
| Capture Selected Area | Alt+4 | Control+4 |
These shortcuts start the corresponding capture directly; they do not open the popup. A browser can leave a default unassigned because of an operating-system or extension conflict, so the labels shown in the popup are the current source of truth.
Customize browser shortcuts
- Open extension Settings from the popup header.
- Choose Shortcuts.
- Click Customize Shortcuts.
- Change the command in the browser's extension shortcut manager.
- Return to Settings or reopen the popup and confirm that the label updated.
In Chrome, you can also open chrome://extensions/shortcuts directly.
Editor tool shortcuts
When the editor is in the foreground and you are not typing in a field:
| Key | Tool/action |
|---|---|
V | Select |
A | Annotation |
T | Text |
R | Arrow |
S | Shape |
B | Blur |
M | Emoji |
G | Background |
D | Device Mockup |
E | Resize |
W | Watermark |
L | Toggle Layers panel |
Editor actions
| Action | Windows / Linux | macOS |
|---|---|---|
| Undo | Ctrl+Z | Cmd+Z |
| Redo | Ctrl+Y or Ctrl+Shift+Z | Cmd+Y or Cmd+Shift+Z |
| Select all annotations | Ctrl+A | Cmd+A |
| Clear selection | Ctrl+D | Cmd+D |
| Delete selected annotations | Delete / Backspace | Delete / Backspace |
| Exit the current tool and clear selection | Esc | Esc |
| Reset canvas view | Ctrl+0 | Cmd+0 |
| Zoom in/out | Ctrl+= / Ctrl+- | Cmd+= / Cmd+- |
| Toggle the right properties panel | Ctrl+Shift+R | Cmd+Shift+R |
| Toggle editor light/dark mode | Ctrl+Shift+D | Cmd+Shift+D |
Before capture, element and area selection only support Esc to cancel. Arrow-key adjustment, Shift aspect locking, double-click confirmation, and Enter confirmation are not part of the current flow.
A shortcut does not respond
- Check Settings → Shortcuts to see whether the browser assigned the command.
- Check for operating-system or extension conflicts.
- Element and area shortcuts require a normal webpage as the active tab.
- Single-letter editor shortcuts can be suppressed while an input has focus to avoid accidental actions.
