Editor Functions

Use the annotation tools, Studio backgrounds, size presets, mockups, watermarks, layers, and export actions in Full Page Screenshot v1.21.0.

Open the editor

The editor opens automatically after a successful capture. You can also reopen an item from Capture History or choose Import Image in the popup to edit a local image.

A product tour appears on first use. The workspace contains the screenshot canvas, a floating tool palette, a right-side properties panel, and output controls in the lower-right corner.

After selecting a tool, use the right panel to configure color, width, opacity, font, blur intensity, and other relevant properties.

Selection, layers, and undo

  • Click an annotation with Select; hold Ctrl/Cmd for multi-select.
  • Press Delete/Backspace to remove selected annotations.
  • Use Ctrl/Cmd+Z to undo; use Ctrl+Y on Windows or Cmd+Shift+Z on macOS to redo.
  • The Layers panel can select, hide, or delete annotations and adjust object order.
  • Hold Space temporarily to pan the canvas; use the mouse wheel and zoom controls to inspect long captures.

Studio backgrounds and stage styling

Choose Background and enable Studio mode to configure:

  • Solid-color backgrounds.
  • Free basic gradients; more gradients and custom directions require Pro.
  • Local-image or Unsplash backgrounds (Pro).
  • Screenshot position within the canvas.
  • Automatic or manual padding.
  • Rounded corners, shadows, brightness, image blur, and an inset border.
  • A transparent canvas, preserved when exporting PNG.

Output-size presets

The Size panel provides automatic size, custom dimensions, common aspect ratios, device screen sizes, and presets for Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, Product Hunt, and other platforms.

These presets change the final canvas, not the viewport used for the original browser capture. Check the fit mode and image position after applying a preset.

Device mockups

Device Mockup is a Pro feature that can place the screenshot in MacBook, iMac, iPad, iPhone, Android phone, monitor, Apple Watch, TV, or browser frames. Landscape and portrait availability depends on the model shown in the picker.

Watermarks

  • Text watermark: free; enter your own text.
  • Image watermark: Pro; upload an image or use an image URL.
  • Advanced position, size, opacity, and preset controls may require Pro.

A watermark is included in the final output only while it is enabled.

Page information and Jira/GitHub

The information button in the right panel shows source URL, viewport, capture time, capture mode, and image dimensions.

Share to Jira/GitHub copies Markdown text to the clipboard. It includes available capture metadata and blank fields for the operating system, browser, and browser version that you must complete manually. It does not upload the image or publish directly to a third-party service.

Export

ActionFree/ProNotes
PNGFreeBest for high quality and transparent backgrounds
JPEGFreeUsually smaller
WebPProUseful for web delivery
PDFProUses paper, margin, and header/footer settings
Copy imageFreeWrites the final composition to the clipboard
PrintFreeOpens the browser print flow
Jira/GitHub MarkdownFreeCopies a text template; does not upload the image

Editor output is not uploaded to cloud storage automatically. Download important work so clearing browser data does not remove the only local copy.
