Installation Guide
Install Full Page Screenshot v1.21.0 in Chrome or Microsoft Edge, then complete onboarding, pin the extension, and verify the first capture.

Supported platforms
The current release officially supports desktop Chrome 120+ and is also available through Microsoft Edge Add-ons. This extension does not run in Safari, iOS/Android Chrome, or other platforms that cannot install compatible Chrome extensions.
The repository retains a Firefox build target, but this guide does not promise official Firefox support until a verified store listing and release are available.
Install from the Chrome Web Store
- Open the Chrome Web Store listing.
- Click Add to Chrome.
- Confirm with Add extension.
- Open the browser's Extensions menu and pin Full Page Screenshot to the toolbar.
Install in Microsoft Edge
- Open the Microsoft Edge Add-ons listing.
- Click Get and confirm the installation.
- Pin the extension from Edge's Extensions menu.
First-run welcome page
After the first installation, the extension opens a welcome page with:
- Optional account sign-in.
- Instructions for pinning the extension.
- An optional new-user bonus.
- A finish step.
You can skip sign-in and the bonus. Configure format, automatic clipboard copy, automatic download, and other preferences from Settings in the popup header.
Why the extension requests permissions

The extension cannot run on protected pages such as chrome:// settings, browser web stores, or other extension pages.
Verify the installation
- Open a normal
https://webpage. - Click the extension icon and confirm that four capture actions appear.
- Choose Capture Current View.
- Confirm that the editor opens with the new screenshot.
By default, the capture is stored in local history and copied to the clipboard; it is not downloaded immediately. Enable automatic download under Settings → Capture if needed.
Capture a local file
To capture a file:// page:
- Open
chrome://extensions/. - Find Full Page Screenshot and choose Details.
- Enable Allow access to file URLs.
- Return to the local page, refresh it, and try again.
The icon is missing
- Confirm that the extension is enabled.
- Pin it from the browser's Extensions menu.
- If store installation failed, update the browser and reinstall.
- If the store is unavailable, use the local CRX/ZIP installation guide.
