Quick Start
Take your first webpage screenshot, make a basic edit, and export it in five minutes while learning the four capture modes and default save behavior.

1. Open the extension
Open a regular webpage and click the Full Page Screenshot icon in the browser toolbar. If the icon is hidden, pin it from the browser's Extensions menu.
Protected pages such as browser settings, extension pages, and web stores cannot be captured.
2. Choose a capture mode
The popup provides four modes:
| Mode | Best for | Interaction |
|---|---|---|
| Full page | Long articles, product pages, and complete archives | Click and wait for automatic scrolling to finish |
| Current view | Only what is visible on screen | Click once |
| Webpage element | A button, card, image, or component | Hover for the blue highlight, then click the element |
| Selected area | Any rectangular part of the page | Drag the pointer and release to capture |
Press Esc to cancel element or area selection.
3. Wait for the editor
After capture, the review editor opens automatically and the screenshot is added to local capture history.
With the default settings:
- The screenshot is copied to the clipboard automatically.
- It is not downloaded automatically.
- The browser shows a save dialog when you download manually.
Change these behaviors under Settings → Capture.
4. Make a basic edit
The editor includes:
- Text, annotations, arrows, and shapes
- Blur and emoji
- Backgrounds, output sizes, padding, rounded corners, and shadows
- Device mockups and watermarks
- Undo, redo, zoom, and layer management

5. Export or share
When editing is complete, you can:
- Download PNG or JPEG.
- Copy the final image to the clipboard.
- Print the image.
- Copy Jira/GitHub-ready Markdown information.
- Use Pro to export WebP or PDF.
Default capture shortcuts

The shortcuts actually assigned by the browser appear in the popup and under Settings → Shortcuts. If the browser leaves a shortcut unassigned because of a conflict, open its shortcut manager from that page and choose another combination.
