Extension Basics
Learn the Full Page Screenshot v1.21.0 popup, editor, capture history, settings, and account entry points.
Popup layout
From top to bottom, the popup contains:
- Account status: sign in, view the current account, or sign out.
- Capture History: the file icon opens locally stored captures.
- Settings: the gear icon opens the complete settings page.
- Capture actions: full page, current view, webpage element, and selected area.
- Utilities: page-level sensitive-information blur (Pro) and image import.
- Help and Feedback: open the help center in the supported current language or visit feedback.
- Version and upgrade: the footer shows the installed version and upgrade entry point.
Each capture action shows the shortcut currently assigned by the browser. If it says no shortcut, use Settings → Shortcuts to assign one.
Four capture modes
| Popup action | Behavior |

| Capture Full Page | Scrolls automatically, composes a long image, and opens the editor |
| Capture Current View | Saves the current browser viewport and opens the editor |
| Capture Webpage Element | Highlights on hover, captures on click, and opens the editor |
| Capture Selected Area | Captures a dragged rectangle when the pointer is released |

After a capture
Every successful capture becomes the current editor image and, when history is enabled, is stored in local capture history. With the default settings, it is also copied to the clipboard automatically.
The editor provides annotation, Studio styling, output-size presets, watermarks, device mockups, download, clipboard copy, printing, PDF, and Jira/GitHub Markdown. Actions marked Pro require a subscription.
Import an existing image
Choose Import Image in the popup to:
- Select a local image file.
- Drag an image into the import panel.
- Paste an image from the clipboard.
The imported image opens in the same editor and appears as an Import item in local history.
Blur sensitive information on a webpage
The blur utility in the popup works on the live webpage before capture. Click or drag to cover sensitive areas. This entry point requires Pro and does not run on protected browser pages.
It is separate from the editor's blur annotation tool, which applies blur, pixelation, or mosaic effects to an image that has already been captured.
Account and local mode
You can use free capture and editing without signing in. Signing in lets the extension read your subscription and unlock the Pro permissions associated with the account.
Capture history is currently stored in local browser data. Clearing browser data or uninstalling the extension can remove it, so download important images as backups.
Settings entry point
The settings page has eight sections: General, Files, Capture, Editor, PDF, Interface, Shortcuts, and Privacy. Changes are normally saved automatically.
